Immersion Heaters are widely used for heating water, oil, chemicals, wax, tar
etc. in tanks or pipes. These heaters consist of "U" shaped tubular
heater heating elements brazed or welded into a standard pipe flange. Bolting
the heater assembly onto a mating flange, which is welded, to the tank wall or
pipe, makes installation. Terminal housing is provided to enclose electrical connections
Cold
section from the flange side if required can be provided. There is a thermowell
for mounting the temperature sensor. Element Supports are provided to maintain
proper element spacing. Heaters are designed for 240 V or 415 V supply and
wattage ratings are from 1.5 KW to 100 KW. Other voltages and wattages can also
be designed. Flange material is M.S. or S.S. and heating element material is S.S.
or Incolonel as per customer requirement.
