Heaters are the most versatile answer to a variety of heating requirements through
out the industry.
CONSTRUCTION:
-
HOT WATT Tubular heater consists of a helical Nickel Chromium resistance
coil with a cold terminal attached to each end, precisely centered and uniformly
stretched within a heavy gauge metal pipe. It is then filled with high purity
Magnesium Oxide insulation. This assembly is then swaged, reducing the diameter
of the tube and compacting insulation to insure rapid heat transfer and hold the
coil in its position. The sheath materials used are SS 304, SS 316 Incoloy etc
as the case may be.
TUBULAR
HEATER FOR TEXTILE ROLLERS: -
Straight tubular heaters are widely used
in textile industries for calendaring, embossing, shinning etc. Cold length can
be kept at both the ends as per the requirement. Heaters are designed in such
away that they give uniform heating to the object/roller to be heated. Heaters
are available in 8.2 mm or 10.5 mm diameter. 10.5 mm dia tube is suggested as
due to less watt density it gives better life.
